24 Hours of Continuous Worship,

Intercession and Teaching

 

 

1 Corinthians 12:26-27

If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad.  Now all of you together are Christ's body, and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it.

 

A “CALL” is going out to the Body of Christ in Pittsburgh to come together to pray, intercede, and support The Anglican Communion Network and our brother, Bishop Robert Duncan, as they fight to protect and maintain the Orthodox faith in the Episcopal Church. The Presiding Bishop of the National Episcopal Church has made public her plan to try and depose Bishop Duncan in May of this year. Bishop Duncan is not only the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh; he also is the Moderator of The Anglican Communion Network, a network of theologically conservative Anglicans in North America . He has been a staunch defender of the Christian Faith.

 
On Friday, April 11, Lila Terhune is scheduled to join our monthly “Watch” and teach on prayer based on the Tabernacle of Moses.  However, along with the planned worship and teaching, HOHPP is issuing a “CALL” on behalf of Bishop Duncan, the Anglican family, and The Church of Pittsburgh. HOHPP will host 24 hours of worship, teaching, and intercession; and you are invited to come up on the wall and participate.  

 

 We, like Nehemiah, are laboring to build a wall of protection around our city.  Just as in those days, the enemy is seeking to frustrate the work of God in Pittsburgh , and his sights are on Bishop Duncan. The sound of the trumpet is going out to our city and region…. Will you rally and join us in the gap?  When we gather….”our God will fight for us.” (Nehemiah 4:20)  Will you answer the “CALL” and join with your brothers and sisters for our Lord is strong and as we stand, He will fight.

 

HOHPP is asking you to consider bringing your worship team and/or intercessors and come and join us so that we may maintain a continuous flow of worship and intercession from 7:00 PM on Friday April 11 until 9:00 PM on Saturday April 12. One to two-hour time slots are available for your worship team and intercessors.
